But they could also trade him to another team to hold on to him. Even if he does come back, it was a dumb move not to put him on the 40 man roster. There are a plenty of players on there that don’t belong as much as Phelps would. Adam Stern, Cory Morris, David Newhan, Val Majewski, etc.
