The Orioles will introduce 1st round pick RHP Matt Hobgood at Camden Yards today. He’ll sign his contract and make his way to the GCL Orioles to start off. 3rd round pick, 1B Tyler Townsend, was signed yesterday and hes expected to start out at short A Aberdeen. Both players could move up if their play dictates it. Its nice to get these high picks signed quickly for a change. Theres still work to do however, SS Mychal Givens could come down to the wire.
