Brad Bergesen falls to 5-3.

There really isn’t much to say about last nights game. Jarrod Washburn dominated us. Our only base runner was Nick Markakis when he singled in the 4th inning. That made it tough for Bergesen to win the game. He pitched a ‘quality start’, holding the Mariners to 3 earned runs in 6 innings on 6 hits and 4 walks with 4 strikeouts. He gave up 4 runs total, but the one was unearned when Robert Andino made a throwing error to allow a baserunner that eventually scored. Nolan Riemold also misplayed a fly ball that didn’t help matters any. Brian Bass gave up the 5th run in his one inning of work. Kam Mickolio made his season debut by pitching a perfect 8th with a strikeout.
